I will post a picture at the end of the video so you can see the end result. Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's day to you all. I hope your day was as much fun as mine was. I spent the day with my Mother, my DD and her family. We visited and watched the winter olympics. What fun we had cheering with the crowd. It was so exciting when Canada won their 1st GOLD metal on Canadian soil. DD and her husband have tickets to go and see the ceremonies tomorrow night, so she is very excited. I made cards for my family but unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of them. That is not like me at all, sorry, I will remember from now on. Hey! it was still an all around great day!

Happy Valentine Day

I made this card using the emboss resist technique. I stamped the image with versa mark and heat embossed it. I then took perfect plum and rubbed the image to to show the embossed heart. I used the SAB trim border punch to make the card pop more. I stamped the trim to give it a DSP look, added ribbon and the card is finished. I have entered the emboss resist challenge over at Capture the Moment blog. It has been so long since I have done this technique that I had fun making this project.

Stamp Sets: Always, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: whisper white, pale plum, perfect plum
Ink: perfect plum, black, versamark
Accessories: corner rounder punch, border trim punch, iridescent ice embossing powder, heat gun, white satin ribbon.
