Christmas Wish

Today's card is made from the cricut cartridge Wild Card. I think it turned out so cute with the DSP that was used and I love the shape of the card. I ued frost white paint by put a little in a spray bottle with alcohol and lightly misting the poinsetta. What a great effect it gave. It doesn't show up as well in the photo as in real life but it is there.

Stamp Sets: Spot Light on Christmas, Home for Christmas
Paper: merry moments DSP, whisper white
Ink: ruby red, garden green, frost white paint[Holiday Mini] available Oct 1st.

Spotlight On Christmas

The last few posts have been very busy cards. I guess that must be how I am feeling, busy, lol. I have 4 challenges in today's card. The first is using the sketch from Inspirational Card Sketches. The second is the color combo from the Color Throwdown challenge. Black/white-melon mambo-kraft and crushed currey. The colors look great together. The third is Christmas in August for Dutch Dare Card challenge. The fourth is using any sketch at Fab's Big on Christmas Cards Challenge.

Stamp Sets: Spotlight On Christmas, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: whisper white, melon mambo, kraft, crushed currey
Ink: melon mambo, creamy caramel
Accessories: shimmery pearl paint[ new in holiday mini starts Sept 1st] scallop edge border punch, 1", 1 1/4", 1 3/8" circle punches, paper piercer, melon mambo polka dot grossgrain ribbon, and the big shot texture swirl plate.
I lightly sponged the shimmery pearl paint onto the embossed image and then painted over the stamped image with the paint.

Merry Christmas

Christmas in July, lol I am just getting ahead start on my cards. I have been wanting to do some braying and after watching many of Michelle Zindorff's technique I decided it was time to put the brayer in my hand. Using the brayer was wonderful and easy. This is my second try using the brayer and it won't be the last. There are 3 challenges in this card. The first challenge is the Secret Crafters challenge and it is a cute sketch. The second challenge is using something with fur for One stop Craft Challenge. The third challenge is using a present for the Winter Wonderland Challenge.
