Just for you

I sure like this little giraffe, he is so cute. I made this card with The Sugar Bowl Sketch. They were also wanting the color Kraft or browns and creams. It is a cute sketch and I find I am liking he square cards very much. The DSP paper is also a sneak peek from the new catalogue, available July 1st. I find I am also using the new stamp set Teeny Tiny Wishes a lot. They fit the word window punch and the new modern label punch so well. IMHO it is a must for any stampers collection.

Stamp Sets: Animal Stories, Teeny Tiny Wishes and Rustic Rooster
Paper: Tall Trees DSP ( new) , chocolate chip, very vanilla
Ink: close to cocoa, crushed currey and chocolate chip
Accessories: 1/8" hole punch and red brad

Rustic Rooster

I have another rustic rooster card to share with you. I stamped this one for the Mojo Monday sketch challenge. It gave me another chance to use the circle cutter. I still find it so amazing how quick and easy it is to make circles now. I love it. This is a great sketch and I think I will be using it often.
Stamp Sets: Rustic Rooster, Fundamental Phases
Paper: Parisian breeze specialty DSP, whisper white, pacific point.
Ink: Pacific point, pumpkin pie, summer sun, garden green.
Accessories: hodgepodge hardware antique, natural hemp, circle cutter, daubers.

Rustic Rooster

Here is the Spring & Summer 09 new Hostess set, level 2 called Rustic Rooster. I think he looks so regal. A strip of always artichoke, and a strip of rasberry tart was glued to the left hand side of the very vanilla card base. The rooster was stamped with basic black on very vanilla, then masked, so the font background wouldn't go onto the rooster. He was colored in with markers, then layered onto Really rust and always artichoke. A build a brad was added to the top right cornter, then glued onto the card base. The sentiment was stamped with basic black.
Thanks for dropping by, God Bless,
Carol
