Pocket Silouettes

Todays card is inspired by the sketch from Our Creative Corner challenge. It is such a cute and easy sketch to do. Second challenge is from Three Clovers Designs and they are asking for bling on our project.

Accessories: 5/8" chocolate chip grossgrain ribbon, the big shot texture plate and I used the Cricut to cut the ovals.

The last post I made I have had a few questions about how I made the lacy border. I used the Cricut Personal cutting machine. It is an excellent product and I love that it can cut such elegant designs. I hope this answers all your questions. Thank You all for the great comments. I do appreciate it very much.

Gift Box Set

Here is a boxed gift set, of six cards and envelopes to match. I used the top note for the box closure. I found the tutorial for the box on Angie's My Chic n' Scratch blog. She has some great idea's, The Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge is Pretty Packaging, and my gift box fit in perfectly.

Pocket Silhouette

I did the KWerner color challenge this week but I didn't get it made it time to send it to the site. The colors were black, grey and white. I didn't use any grey because the designer paper looked more of a dark grey to me than it did black so that is where the grey comes in. I also couldn't decide what sentiment I wanted to use so I left it blank for now.

Manhattan Embossing Flower

I saw a tutorial on how to ink your embossing folder. (Sorry I can't remember the name of the site.) Last night a stampin pal came over and this is what I decided to do. I am pleased with the results.

Manhattan Embossing Flower

Embrace Life 5

I decided it was time to make a man's card. It was an easy card to make and if you add brads or eyelets it can be more masculine.

Pocket Silhouette # 4

I got my Ups order in today so I had to play with some of my new goodies that came in the box. I had a lot of fun creating this card with the Mojo Monday's # 73 sketch so this is my version.

I made a few thank you cards this moring. I wanted them to be quick and easy. They didn't take long at all. I added the same image on the envelope. They look so cute.

Pocket Silhouette

The pocket silhouette stamp set is so cute and versitile. It makes a quick card in just a few minutes, and can be made for any occation.The card base is chocolate chip. The pretty in pink was stamped with the french script background stamp. It is hard to see but it is there. I then used the scallop edge punch on the bottom to give it some texture. I stamped two of the stamps from the pocket silhouetts on the whisper white and punched them out with the 1 1/4" square punch. The chocolate chip was punched with the scallop square, and layered with the whisper white. The get well sentiment was stamped with the All Holiday stamp, and punched out with the key tag. The chcolate chip ribbon was tied in a bow. The ribbon just finished the card off.
